Grey Water Sensor Fix
Grey Water Sensor Fix
I have finally fixed the problem of incorrect readings from the sensors in the grey water tank. Aldi stores are selling at the moment a drain pipe cleaner kit ,comprising of two different size hoses and fittings to clean out the drains in the kitchen and laundry,a $6.99 purchase.I pushed the smaller hose into the breather pipe of the grey tank, connected to ,and turned on the garden hose, could hear the fitting thrashing around inside the tank, checked the grey water guage, there it was ,a zero(no water in the grey tank)for the first time in three years.I have been trying different chemicals and cleaners trying to fix the problem for some time.I was surprised that very little gunk came out of the tank. Usual disclaimers ,i don't own Aldi, just like most of their products.cheers Peter

Re: Grey Water Sensor Fix
Good one Peter, it's often the simple easy fixes you tend to over look for a more complicated solution. I guess it would work well from flushing the black tank as well, maybe a similar thing permanently fitted in each tank, just plug the water fitting on after emptying the tank for part of the final flush of the tank and hoses.
