Yep, it arrived yesterday. Looks really good, 1.8 litres. Nice size and only 780watts. Just have to both learn how to use all the functions. Will keep all informed. Oh by the way it has a lithium battery in it so its in good company.
The kettle I ordered from another place after 14 days it is not here. It is laughable as it only has to come 88 metres. Pressed pay button before I realised where they were.

careful Terry, you are turning into a gadget guru. Just because you bought Brians Mazda, that he towed around with a huge trailer full of "might be neededs" doesnt mean you have to follow suit, or is that Mazda van hiding some sort of hoarding ghost that is starting to take you over. The idea was a consolidation of the 3 units we already carry, a rice cooker, a bread maker and a slow cooker. I suspect only the bread maker will be removed from the cupboard though, it seems to be a challenge to see just how many things can be powered from these batteries, the inverter size seems to be the limiting factor at the moment The record at the moment is, the coffee percolator, the bread maker and the slow cooker, all at the same time, the poor inverter sounded like it was winding up for take off

Ummmm.... Dottie...... as far as cooking goes, I love to cook, Margaret finds it a chore, so I do a lot of the cooking. As far as Margaret needing batteries..... I don't think I've been replaced by a batery operated model I hope
