Is that because you don't have the camera or you haven't figured out how to get them done? may be help around for you if you like?

Sorry Dot, after I posted I reckoned it was a bit negative so deleted it... thought I'd managed it before any responses -apparently not.Dot wrote:No worries Chuck, help at hand all the way. With all of those there will be one at either end of the track. Clever thinking old boy
That wasn't funny Chuck now my post does look like Banal, (no comments from the peanut gallery either)

Re: Pet-els touring
Left Springsure this morning for Tambo [200k of gravel], lunch at Tambo [2 hotels don't serve lunches] Hamburger at Fanny Fays [next to Tambo Teddies] then drove 35k west and turned onto a gravel road for 14k to a shearing shed [our camp ground for the night], up to the homestead [another 10k] had a lovely afternoon tea and a look around a 150 year old property that has only had two owners, the present for 100years.
Went back to the Shearers shed [no sheep for 40 years, dingo's cleaned them out]. The station put on a display of a helicopter rounding up cattle, and we could see it all. Happy hour in the Shearing shed, now all sitting around a fire in a specially cleared area. Off tomorrow to Isisford. 100 happy Safari people.

Re: Pet-els touring
Just got back from a fantastic afternoon. Bus took us to "Longreach Water Hole" actually the Thompson River, but as the rest of the river is not flowing it's a Water Hole [12k long, 50 - 100m wide and in places 20m deep]. Two vessels one a paddle wheeler the other a twin hull boat. Went about 6k up river & returned at sunset. Came ashore and entertained by a bush poet, then served a plate of beef stew & bread, followed by apple pie cream & custard. The a spectacular movie "Captain Starlight". Made by the people that served us [Cpt Starlight was Harry Redford cattle duffer] remember I saw the white bull at Amarac a few weeks ago. He opened up the trail to move cattle from Qld to SA.
Even though he was guilty the jury let him off. Plus a light show to go with it. Then Billy tea and Damper before the bus back to Ilfracombe.
