We went there again to-day & I reckon that there were still more on display. Last Thursday there were none on the other side of the road but to-day there were ones in bloom for quite a distance. I reckon in about 2 weeks there will be a continuous strip of them with all the tiny ones just appearing & the bigger ones joining up.
They certainly are magic flowers. I wonder if they are grown anywhere else in the world?
Kay do me a favour please, when you are back with those flowers would you try to get down to see if they have any perfume at all. Never thought to do that when we were there.
Queen of the Banal & OT chatter and proud of it. If it offends you then tough titty titty bang bang.
They are between Perenjori & the Great Northern Highway & the road is called the east Wanarra road. If coming in from GNR you are now driving west. Travel 6ks & they are on both sides of the road for about 500 mts. Then as you get about 3-5 ks from Perenjori they are starting to appear on the left side of the road again.
They are IMPOSSIBLE to miss but a couple we were speaking to at the VP at Perenjori said they did not see them.
They are also on Bateman Road out of Three Springs- Chuck has seen those.
Seems like it doesn't it... no parking space on the correct side of the road & I had no desire to argue with those road trains from the mines with their 4 trailers!!!
