Hello all.
I have a 2006 Avan Applause 500 motorhome based on a Ducato 2.8JTD (though its a bit small to warrant that title, more like a motorcamper or campervan).
You can see over 400 pictures and text of the changes and fixes I have made to this van on my Website at http://www.manins.net.au/motorhome.
Some of the more interesting things there are
* my installation of a diesel heater
* bike racks on the back door of the van
* extra solar panel on a parallelogram mechanism
* porta bote on the side of the van
* internal and external fans for the compressor fridge (Vitrifrigio C85i)
* vacuum toilet (VT2500) maintenance and repairs
* reversing and rear view cameras
I hope this forum survives - so much good information has been lost due to forced closures of other fora.

Re: Hello from Peter Manins
Welcome to the Happy Forum Peter, good to see you here. Like you, I hope this one survives so the knowledge base can build and remain there for all to access, there was some great info lost when the CMCA one closed.
For those that don't already know, Peter has a great skill at looking outside the square and coming up with some great innovative ideas, fortunately he saved his on a blog site, well worth the visit.
