That Mary has brains
But to make you feel like you did a really good job then I reckon you should have the honour of doing the oven testing

Is there a link to the evil bay site you bought it from?Kelvin12 wrote:Fitted the ceramic insulation material around the oven compartment that I purchased from ebay. Brilliant stuff to work with, cuts with a Stanley knife and easy to fit into place and quite dense. Haven't tried it out with the oven working as yet. Bride assures me the insulation material wasn't necessary as it won't be used.....

Dot,
Are you kidding. For me to do something like cooking I would need a special insurance cover. I admit it I am useless in the kitchen. Mary says like a bull in a china shop.

Re: Oven insulation material.
No wasn't the degrees just the fact it fitted the job, 25mm thick fitted my cupboard framing work. The idea was to keep the ply cabinet paneling from warping with the heat and plus over the top of the oven there is a slide out bench extension so didn't want the laminex to warp or whatever. Sitting over the top of the extension are the hob hot plates. Same reason just in case the heat managed to cause problems to the laminex. Laminex doesn't like heat.
