Dump point at Narrandera showgrounds, Now there is some contradiction between the camps 6 book which says the showgrounds are on Elizabeth ST and the Dump Point info (p. 396) says Victoria Ave. Anyway the showgrounds are on one side of the road and the sports oval is on the other side of the road.. Dump point east to get to and fro. :? :?

Well Dot you've found one that isn't even in geowiki yet!
I've tried to find it but can't pin point exactly where it is.
Does it say it's a CMCA subsidised one?

It is in GeoWiki Bruce. Search Dump Points NSW Public. It shows it at the showground which is listed as a Campground.

I'll never work this new system out!!!
Took me a long time to get used of looking in "services" & now you tell me it's something else!
The ONLY thing I'm interested in is somewhere to empty my cassette.......... is that so hard?

Funny you should say that about emptying into a dunny Bruce there lies a story. As we have no chemicals in our cassette (vacuum) G asked a council man who was doing the cleaning of a camp grounds loos if it was ok to empty in there? "Yeah mate no worries" he said, so we waited till no one was about and as soon as G had done the job sure enough a man goes into the loos, he comes out and says to G, "bloody stinks" and walks back to his big flash caravan.. G said " sorry about that but there are no chemicals in it" Personally I would have said "What and yours doesn't" :lol: :lol: I thought it was funny but I do have toilet humour.. I can not understand why people would pref to use a public loo rather than the one in their van? :lol: :lol: :lol:

I don't use that Geowiki thingy. :?
The caravan park is in the showgrounds and you are charged there so they shouldn't say it is a campground IMHO and No I didn't see any ref to the cmca on or around the dump point.
