Chuck can you actually read the passing vehicles rego number?
I've seen so many videos recorded that really aren't good enough for any court action if needed.
Even a lot of these burglar break-ins in shops & supermarkets are that terrible that actual face recognition is not possible.

Looks like you're in a hurry to get home Dot....well, we have to be back Adelaide way by 20 th November as we have a nice house dog sheep sit in the hills for a few days and we will, of course, be catching up for another paella if you're up for one?
We are a week away from leaving Bucca near Bundaberg, sorting out the van and guess what! Fridge has stopped working on 240! I pointed out to Greg that as long as it works on gas then all is not lost.
Anyway, don't forget to stop to smell the roses!
Hugs

Don't really have much of an option now due to the "Curry smellers" have to be home otherwise we would be dribbling much more slowly. Has been good to give the bus a good run though, nothing apart from my back has given way so that is good. Just soooooooooo jealous of all the wood laying around the place

Finally... managed to scrounge a little gizmo - you'll know what it's called - to take the mini chip out of the camera, then plug the gizmo into the laptop to enable us to view the video.Chuck wrote:Good question Bruce, will see if I can find a good answer..... get back to ya.BruceS wrote:Chuck can you actually read the passing vehicles rego number?

In a word - brilliant. Clear as &, yes, you can read the rego numbers on the cars.
We viewed the last trip we did from Goomalling down to Midland in Perth & at one point we were driving around the main shopping centre where there were heaps of occasions to view the rego plates.
Didn't have anyone pass us on the trip... well, it is a Landcruiser twin turbo V8 !!

Just had a chat to Phil, the ebay guru here at the Goomalling van park & the bloke who showed me the playback on his laptop when he bought his & that decided us to have him grab one for us - sort of... well - he says the camera is HD, hence the really clear viewing.
Hope this is what you're looking for Bruce, can highly recommend it from this end.

Squished bunnies, how horrid are you,
heaps of knocked roos and a few puddy tats though. Now at YANGA Rest area, STOP # 871. p.152. HEMA 42G6. Big enough for any size rig but some places on a lean. No loos, but there is a rubbish bin and table & chairs and a few trees. And plenty of those sticky flies. Good way off the highway . What a horrid road it has been so far, I want to know why they grow cotton here? all the water being dribbled into paddocks when they could be growing either food for OUR consumption or feed for animals?? not cotton or rice, surely we get enough cotton & rice from other countries, plus every tree has gone from sight as well
The driest continent in the world and we grow these crops?? please explain??
Actually saw some breathing wild life today, at least a dozen emu's and billions of flies of course.. 4pm and time for my happy hr. Not sitting outside either might get carried away
