Hino Rainbow 145 GVM

Post by homeless »

I am looking for the original GVM for a Hino 145A bus.

it would be the same as the Australian models

Mine has been derated and the original Compliance plate was removed.

Also if possible a copy of the page in the manual showing this tare would help so I can present to get the registration altered.

Regards

Brian, There is usually a Hino parked just around the corner from my place. I will see if I can get any relevant info for you. Do you know where on the body the original compliance plate was mounted?
Cheers

no worries Brian,

I found some of the NZ sites to be very helpful with my engineer and the Bedford specs.

I also managed to find an old sales brochure which had everything he needed and officially "stamped".

Where are you doing it Brian? In SA?
There's a few on here would be very interested in your experience in the process & any problems you encounter.
Are you transferring it to another state?

Hi Bruce
I am still in port Pirie and I am doing some research etc as well as talking to the person doing the work on my bus. he runs the local bus company and has done this before so going from his experience.

I will be transferring from QLD to SA as a 4.5t and then go in after to get it upped to the new GVM hopefully
