Well THE BOSS and I have been home now for two weeks and life has not been dull, as some of you know Ivan had a back problem for the last 3 weeks of our trip, we all thought he had a slipped disc and it was pinching a nerve, so we went with this until we got home and made his way to our Doc who ordered an MRI, we got those results on Thursday and it is not what we had hoped . :cry: He appears to have some sort of nerve root lesion/tumour near his L4, so it is off to Melbourne on Monday to see a Specialist at St Vincent's and has been told to bring a bag as they may want to keep him in and that they might have to operate on either Wed or Thursday bloody hell it all moving so fast, we still really don't have a proper answer to what they are thinking it is but not sounding good, we are both very positive at present as we have to much more travelling to do yet.. Finger crossed that all we be OK on Monday..

I recently faced the same fears, so I know where you are right now.
After 19 years fighting a different cancer, I'm sure a positive attitude helps immensely (plus some skilled Drs & prayer ;) ).
You already have the latter two; and I'm sure you can provide the first one.
We're praying for both of you.

All the best wishes are coming your way from both of us. Hope it's an easy fix thing and you will be back on the road again. Pelbo had a great out come with that new pin point laser or what ever it was treatment so that may be something to look into as well.
