I have permission from Ros to let you know what is happening with her BOSS aka Ivan. He has had a couple of MRI's and the specialist is pretty sure there is no tumour BUT is waiting for the final meeting with the XR man tomorrow before committing to the 100% ok. I also understand the BOSS is bored silly so I reckon he should have an enema to give him something to worry about :lol: Good news so far so good :D :D :D (Ros her ironing up to date as well as the whole streets) :D

Hi everyone THE BOSS is home. .... First a big thankyou to you all for your best wishes and concerns. The news today is good and the outcome is the best we could get.. I will try and explain a little of what has happened. Basically he has had a very severe Herniated/ruptured disc, there are about 4 types of this, Ivan has had what is called a "Sequestration" it is where the nucleus ( disc matter) ruptures through the annulus ( outer part of disc) and a large fragment of it has separated from the disc and went walk-about and lodged in a place that was hard to find this is what was showing up as a shadow, it has been pressing on the L4 nerve and giving him lots of grief, So a much better outcome than a tumour .. He has had an Injection into the spine today and has to rest for 6 to 9 weeks. The piece of fragment will be destroyed by his own white blood cells if all goes to plan. He has an appointment to see Doc again in 3 weeks but if he is no better then it will be surgery so fingers crossed . Hope you can understand all this.

Good news........... but?
What about the fishing over Christmas?
I think I feel some frustration happening!!
Any idea of how he did it Ros? Big fish? Climbing over you in middle of night?
Lifting the caravan to hitch it up?
Its not funny but from what I've heard it can be the simple little things that does the damage ......... like cleaning up the office!!! (huh? George?)
