It is only spring, Peter is in Melbourne and the panels are flat mounted. It's roughly 2/3rds of the max expected so fairly close. Probably a bit better when parked at a different angle and a different time of day as well, I'd be happy with that.

I have idea, I had drawn quite a bit out the day before. Setting up the vast. Whilst I am working on anything in the van at home I turn on very thing. I would think I would maybe have used 10% of the capacity. Later this week I will plug in the laptop and have a look and see where it was prior to hooking in the new panels. Peter

Hi, all.

Peter - are you installing more batteries?
See you on the back roads,

I've tried to fill in the missing bits of the coded message Peter
As you use the solid state realy and shunt system if you had things turned on while you took the reading it would only show the excess that was being returned to the battery, the solar would also have been directly powering all the loads as well, that would mean the actual solar output was much higher.

No code. The day prior to switching on the new panels I used as much power as I could. The next morning I hooked in the new panels. About 10 am. No more batteries [=85]yet[/size]. I have lots to do with the vast at moment. Hopefully I can give a full report of what I have been doing on Saturday, waiting for a bit of paperwork from an engineer.
