The October comp was won by David aka Supersparky with his windmill at Longreach pic #8.
I thought it depicted the essence of Australia.

This is George the King Parrot on our verandah at home. This is the 4th year he (& his partner Mildred) has returned. We don’t see him for many months, but as soon as he returned I offered him some sunflower seed & he flew straight onto my hand.
