I feel compelled to distance myself from any association with this as it has been taken way out of context. I was referring to the aquamarine ferry, not the airy fairy.

dawg (how did it get to this :o )
Experience is a wonderful thing. It helps you recognise a mistake when repeated.

Back in Ballarat after a couple of very busy and stressful weeks settling my 85 year old parents into a new house they purchased without talking to the family first. Now wishing they had stayed in the family home of 35 years. Now its time to get something organized for Xmas as I have all the family home this years. Kay if you find somewhere to runaway to I just might go to it must be time to get the van out and disappear.

Cheers Ros.

Still on the [ :? ] glorious Western Fringe of Melbourne...
Although furiously packing for The Big Move. :D
"Packing Fatigue" has set in... after just over two months of packing.
Three weeks and a few days to go.
The house is overrun with boxes. Girt is full of boxes. Our neighbour's trailer, which we've borrowed, is full of boxes.
And we're having The Last Family Christmas at our place (after 24 years), so the kitchen stuff can't be packed yet. Likewise the good crockery & cutlery and tableware (cloth, serviettes, serving dishes, etc.).

Roll on 15th January...
Then we start UNpacking.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Sitting in the office getting eaten by mozzies because some twat (with an A) left the back door open. We will be moving into the bus while my sister and 4 schnauzers and her husband is here over Xmas. Easier that way as her dogs chase cats so they can have the house and us 3 will have the bus

After an interesting drive on the Snowy River Road then the Barry Way, we are now housesitting in a place called Kalkite, a short drive from Jindabyne.

Expected cool weather. That's what we were told. They lied.

36 deg today.

Last photo was a view of the High Country from Barry Way.
