At least it's not the start of a new year that this happens.
Have been camped up for four days , dropped all airbags on arrival and levelled MH as usual (automatic levellers)
Decided to move into Kingston Today, left camp and there was a rough thumping sound from the suspension, returned slowly to camp, one air bag still deflated. Checked levelling system, all ok. Resolved that I would have to order a new Air Spring for delivery next week. Got under vehicle, and checked bag, very hard, but no air. Cracked air line, and Air Spring became soft. Connected compressor hose and pumped up air bag directly via air line, vehicle raised. It seems I have an air leveller valve that has failed.
I had to go into Town to buy a tarpaulin to lie on, as these damned grass seeds penetrate every garment. No air getting from air leveller to Air spring. I guess it must be the leveller valve.
Does anybody know if I can bypass the air leveller control, so I can get out of this windy place, or should I just order a new valve and wait for delivery?

[quote="Jon and Kay"]Yes Dot, the air control appears to be Neway[/quote. BIL says he can't suggest anything unless he knew what circuit you are on etc he reckons they used to disconnect the neway then re inflate or something and he has toddled off to bed (the old fart) so I am sorry Jon am of no further use.. Try the pretzelman

I'll take the valve off Today and see if it's repairable. Else wait for businesses to open Monday and order a new one. The wind has stopped and it's a great day to play mechanic.

Re: Air Bag Suspension
Hi Jon,
does this air valve control ride height side to side or one wheel only? If it's side to side the air hoses can be linked to get you to a workshop. The ride will be rough and high, but better than getting a tow to a workshop if needed.
check first that it isn't just a leveling arm adjuster come loose.

Re: Air Bag Suspension
Hi T1, Yes, independent each side, from air tank to leveller valve to air bag. (some other gear as we have auto dump valves as well but I have isolated those)
I detached the adjusting arm and swung it 90 degrees either way, but no air passes through valve. I'll remove it this morning (when I get around to it). I ideally need to remove the wheels
Yes Bruce, camped at Wyomi Beach, Didn't you see I had the kettle on? The blue groundsheet under the bus must have given us away
