No Dot. Only by talking to those that have bought & used them I guess.
To be honest these elcheapo TV's from Aldi etc are really just cheap junk. (in my opinion anyway) The speakers are tinny crap as well.
Every so often when changing channels everything goes blank & you need to switch off & back on again.
Sometimes I've even had to do station search again. (even though in the same place)
The dearer Samsung & Panasonic might just be worth the extra $$$$ (but will they run on 12V?)

We replaced the analogue TV that came with our second hand van with a Kogan despite some bad press about the quality of the sound. We don't watch a lot of TV but have been happy with the sound quality. We bought a satellite system in Perth to match with the Foxtel box we had brought from home in anticipation of the purchase. All-in-all we are happy with our choice. We find the Winegard aerial a pain in the proverbial and totally useless in the sticks. We were able to watch the election results on satellite but would probably have preferred not to.....
We bought a Kogan to replace the aldi analogue Which we still have because it had dvd in it but not a fan of dvd would rather use usb i have to but don't go camping to watch tv if it there ok if not read a book or something or use the internet
We don't watch TV at home so there is very little chance we will watch it when travelling, but we do get hypnotised by them at pubs and restaurants.
I've seen the Winegard’s used as a very good base for an internet stick antenna, so they aren't completely useless
If you want a good TV tuner, buy one as a separate unit Dottie, and then you can plug the DVD player, multi media player, stereo and TV screen or just a monitor into it. That way you get what you want, you get to use the stuff you already have and don't have to put up with poor quality to sell at a competitive price

Omni directional antennas do work but some are better than others. The main problem I had with them was they would pick up multiple signals from surrounding booster stations, this resulted in poor picture quality and shadowing. This was back before the digital signal so I can't comment on how the digital signal works with them. The ships that I worked on had them set up high on the mast and they did work well especially when at anchor and the ship was swinging around. But I ended up buying a directional TV antenna and would set it up when we were in a situation where there were multiple booster stations and we were tied up alongside.
My current set up is a Winegard fitted with wingman and a WinSig v2. If we are close enough to the towns with TV then we use it, but generally use the sat dish. As has been said before, if you are serious about TV then get a sat dish.
Have a Kogan with a Winegard. Does me for what I want to watch. There is always the eReader or card games. Or even a snooze. I get away to get away from home things. If I get the news on TV, all well and good - that's about all I need. Satellite is an expensive way to hear some news?

If you don't have a TV or SATTV you may have to talk to the navigator, best get a SATTV.
