Happy Oz Day...

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Happy Oz Day...

Post by Chuck »

Hope all have a great day.

BBQíng some half price lamb chops -from Woolies, must be my Scottish heritage - with friends.

Just a casual laid back kinda day.

Leaving the Albany area on Tuesday & heading towards Esperance thence points East.

Beautiful picky Dot.
We started the day with a free sausage sizzle at our local park, delicious egg n bacon sarny. and lots of neighbours to chat with. Boring lunch/afternoon and then garlic prawns on the barbie for dinner. I could hear Paul Hogan telling me to chuck another shrimp on the barbie! OH THAT WAS SO GOOD, YUMMO

Attended the Rutherglen Australia Day Breakfast.
Most boring keynote speaker we have ever heard: recently-retired PRO of Carlton FC... couldn't talk about anything but football! Attempted links to citizenship were abominable!
Apart from him, it was eggs, snags & tomatoes on bread at 20 paces. V. Yummy.
Then home to await arrival of Son & Grand-daughter (3-1/2 yo), who are staying until Tuesday.

Good times anticipated, as Gdtr investigates Poppa & Grandma's new house & the region.
Took a walk down town this afternoon... took 45 minutes to do both sides of the main street shopping precinct! :P

Shared a sausage sizzle lunch, then the town walk, then dinner was BBQ lamb chops with salad, before watching Raffa being beaten in the Men's Singles Final at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena.
Regards & God bless,
Ray
