Major Creek Reserve

Post by Ros20549 »

Camp spot 14km SW of Nagambie No. 257 in Camps 6 Good over night to a day or two but not weekends or public holidays would get very busy and looked like the boggins liked the area large area would take large rigs but watch the trees nice few spots by the River. We forgot it was duck opening season and was woken in the early hours with hundreds of gun shots   and heaps of little boats going up and down the River . You can camp on both sides of the River but at present the bridge is being re-built and to get to the other side it was a 14km detour on a very bad gravel road so we only checked out the one side. Will post a photo when I have better internet. Dog friendly some phone service but patchy and toilets but did not see them fires are allowed

Cheers Ros
