Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!
Bloody hot here at the moment - about 38c - but in the van with the air on it's an acceptable 24c.
Apparently I'm the cook tonight doing my butter chicken recipe for the family... unfortunately 2 of 'em don't like it spicy -T & the granddaughter - wooses so will have to do 2 different lots. Still, considering that prezzy time is just around the corner I'll be nice & smile.
Chuck, I made your Sweet Indian Curry for our communal camp oven cookup on Saturday night while camped at Kilkivan with a few other KOGers. It went down a treat and was my very first camp oven dish. Will definitely be doing it in the camp oven again. Your butter chicken is already a firm favourite with the family.
Have not made it as yet, even though the family would love it- I am not into spicey things though & always tend to omit too much of the "heat". Are the fires near you Chuck? I mean trees, not food

Ahh... that's nice.
Did the Butter Chicken myself last night - for 6 of us - 2 of which (Navigator included) don't like spicy/hot dishes, so did 2 different batches. The wooses one had about 1/2 the quantity of spices in the normal recipe minus the chilli hit & even then T said it had a delayed kick. The rest of us had about 1.5 times the spices - plus some ground chillies at the last moment as well - & we reckoned it could even go a bit more. Really needs some deep down oomph to satisfy the curry munchers amongst us, but will not fiddle with the original just add different condiments as we go till we get 'that' taste.
ABout the fires- Bruce said he heard your little "town" mentioned on the news. Hope that the van is now all stacked up with goodies in all the right places. We did a tour of one like yours but the layout inside was totally different- if that makes any sense Son-in-law arrived unexpectedly to-day to drop Sally's Christmas present off- oops- he noticed that the cupboards are bare, no photos on walls etc. Wanted to now what we were doing. Told him that he would have to wait until all children here on Christmas Eve. Am surprised that Sally has not been on the phone this evening then again Julian might not have mentioned what he has seen.
Good night all you wonderful folk out there. Come on Easter!!
I am in two minds with that Q, Maybe get him another bug, or accidently fall asleep on the couch OR create your own super bug . OP shop was hectic. Enjoy that beaut scenery while you can. Nighty night . I'm up for a while yet though.x
