Ah, the best laid plans come unstuck when you forget to take the frozen chicken out of the freezer, the house microwave got sold in the garage sale and the van microwave was pronounced deceased during the recent van repairs and I made the snap decision not to replace it because we hardly ever use it!! Phew! Erich has now been dispatched to the local Chinese takeaway for Mongolian Lamb, Combination Omelette and Fried Rice. Should have enough leftovers for tomorrow night too. Ah, the moving and packing is fun!
Cheers

It was steak and vegies for us tonight. Light the BBQ, then boil the vegies and cook steak. Pretty simple. Even a bloke can do it. Best part is that it is pretty hard to stuff up a steak on the barbie. Then wash it all down with a nice cold beer. Yum.

I have never had a steak cooked properly on a BBQ David.
My son differs with me but you could re=shoe with what he eats.
Looks like some wet coming your way.

Bernie, I like my steak just past rare. I wouldn't eat boot leather either.
And the rain is already here. Hope it hangs around for a little while yet. Are you getting wet up that way yet?
Cheers

Thinly sliced sweet potato chips and potato chips roasted in the oven with roast fish and... probably beans as we had peas last night. possibly 9pm is a tad late to be starting to cook dinner, but a few beers after a very busy day causes a bit of time slip
