Shortly I will be sending out information to those who have expressed a desire to join a gathering over Easter.
These people are listed in the very first post in this thread.
viewtopic.php?f=34&t=2420
If anyone else is considering coming along then please notify Terry by either adding a post to this thread or by Private Message (PM)

This is not 'invitation only' ......... anyone/everyone is welcome!!

Please wait for the info to be sent out before you fire in a zillion questions!!

Hi All

We have my sons wedding on the Saturday of Easter and apparently there's a family DO on the Sunday which will involve copious amounts of the amber nectar, but our intention is...if Greg in particular is up to driving...!! To leave Melbourne on Easter Monday arriving...wherever! On Wednesday as we never travel fast!

So it's really a case of who is likely to be there still. We are hoping to catch up with as many people as possible as weare heading back to Melbourne after a week as we're off to England on 8 May, for six months, touring with our Bailey caravan.

Cheers
Dee
And Greg....

Be careful of the breathalyser units on Easter Monday, Dee, especially after a lengthy 'happy hour' on the Sunday!!! :?

The results of the amber fluid has a tendency to linger longer than generally thought.

Yes, I don't drink but I can't drive for more than an hour ....ancient ankle injury! If Greg is still over the limit we will leave Tuesday!

The roads will be quite busy, I suppose....

Cheers

I'd just like to clarify a few facts.
It seems like there were two different ideas of what 'SORT' of gathering we (individually) really want.

The first was started initially for Terry and other Lithium 'nuts' to gather with other members from the forum to help install a 'system' on a houseboat and then generally sit around, get to know one another and generally socialise.
There would be minimal facilities, minimal conducted tourist visits, typical bush type camping on the banks of the Murray & no charge per night.

The second type is more facilities, possible daily fee, organised day tripping, some entertainment provided and generally socialising.

There has been no rift, arguing, or disagreement. Just a choice.
It would be quite feasible to attend the River one initially and then migrate to the other gathering. Short day trip between them.

I've created a separate thread for the second type for further discussion and organising.

The original one will continue here on this thread.

I'm a bit confused [easy for me].
Who's going to Ashbourne and for how long ?
Who's going to Wongulla and for how long ?
I would like to go to both for a day or two. Maybe Ashbourne first then Wongulla.
As I have to head across to where T1 is going.

Hey BruceS..

Want to ask if the crowd is willing to help load a few Solar Panel's up on My Bus..?

Or should I just plan to Arrive there late...
- Front Rack in Place..
- Need to measure and then setup and Drill the Last Rack then I should be able to get it all up in place..
