RV homebase this weekend then parking at son's until we see what is happening with
him & his back after visit to neurosurgeon on Monday. Has 2 prolapsed discs, one very badly) on crutches & in severe pain not really helped by any of the various pain killers he is taking. Last time this bad was 7 years ago when off work for 7 weeks. When first happened he should have claimed compo but did not want to get a name as a back pain malingerer!
Kay I have a friend who is/was/is a shearer. He had to give shearing away with a similar diagnosis as your son. He spend several years in pain & was employed as a sprinkler attendant on the local golf course. (making sure the auto sprinklers worked)
Someone advised him to go get the 'fusion' (like Dot?).
In a very short time he went back shearing again.
OK, he walks with a stiff back but no pain........ tell him to go do it!!
