Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!
I've read this thread and unless it slipped through the cracks, you haven't received and answer (short of a PM) to your question, so here goes;
A sticky or sticker is a process of making sure your thread stays at the top and obvious ensuring maximum exposure and not dying on the forum vine - so to speak.

"tanks" here -- Thanks for the update. The "sticky" I was thinking about didn't always stay on top !.

I plan to have another birthday next year.
"tanks" here NORMAN---
I think you can undo the Sticky Thing. There was not a lot of response on the Invitation-to-Join the Forum from the Members, and there may be more important postings to read. Thanks for those Members who thought it was a good idea.

a card would have been very handy at Taggerty so people knew where we were. Funny that thodse that know of it refer to it as Dot's or Bruce's forum, not by name, scared others will go and look I'm guessing. One statement was "you aren't on our forum are you?" I replied that the problem was they were not on our forum if I'd had cards I think there would have been at least 5 people interested.
A person may fail many times, they only become a failure when they blame someone else John Burrows
Those who struggle to become a leader, rarely know a clear direction forward for anyone but themselves

"tanks" here T-1 Terry, The hand-out cards are in production. I won't go to the bother of laminating them as most people will just toss the card out when they have visited the Forum. Perhapi I should suggest that they pass the Forum address or the card to other people that may meet with along the road, if they find the Forum meets their needs.
It is now a matter of working out how best to distribute them to our Members and to those who want to see the Forum grow to increase the membership base.
I will be leaving several of the cards on tables at the various campsites/resting places that I use on my WINTER TRIP up to KARRATHA to the 40 Mile Beach and Cleaverville campsites.
I will also hand out some of the cards at "OUR DOT's GREAT SHAVE" !
It would be interesting to have feed-back on any new members who have joined the Forum as a result of the "Invitation to Join" cards. On second thoughts; The Admin Team have enough to do now that Dot is flat on her back and only gets up for a short period, and to keep her muscles and bowels working, I gather that George is doing the cooking---I hearGeorge burns the Scones, so anybody visiting had best take a sponge cake or some WEIS BARS for desert.
