Looking for a Pup

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

What a great cross. Our little fella is a Shiatsu cross, (not sure what the other bit is) but they are the best cross dog we have ever had. Not the best in the obedience side of things but really kid orientated. They just take over and give you all the love in return. We got ours from the RSPCA, he was a seized pup and took some time to settle down but well worth the effort and trouble. Now he rules the roost and we share the house under his terms. God luck in your search.

In my experience those little dogs are always cross! Yap, yap, yap. Yap, yap, yap. :) :) :)

Great news guys, ring the dog rescue people... Pet owners cause bad behaviour in any and all dogs just like human 02 bandits off spring.

Shiatsu aren't barkers as a rule from my experience with them. Just a great little companion dog.

If you want a barker get a cattle dog. We have one locally and its use by date is just about up.

My first shitzu was not a barker, but he was pure bred. The second was shitzu crossed with a lhaso apso (I think I spelt that right). He was a severe barker, especially when we left him alone. Don't know if it was his breeding or the fact that he had been very badly treated before we bought him from the shelter.
I can tell you that the shitzu part in them both, was the best part. Most lovable loyal dogs we have ever had and NO YAP.

As they get older, into their real old age unfortunately the zoo goes and you can be left with little shits, but that is up to how well you train them from the start.

Lots of luck Phil, I would be there in a flash to buy another one. Hubby is insistent that we have to finish travelling and sell the van before I can have another pup, but you know they are such lovely animals and you deserve to have your lives enriched with another one now. Good luck with the purchase.

If you don't want a barker, get a basenji as they don't bark at all.

Just let whatever pup pick you, sit in the yard with the mob and the right one will find you. :D (Anne did)

Hi, all.

Met a builder a while ago whose pet was a Jack Russell. He really doted on this dog, let me know his missus has a Shitzu, and that the jack had taken liberties with it He was expecting a litter of Jack - First syllable...
See you on the back roads,
