G'day Bernie,

Looking good mate. Now, if you'd work during the day instead of being in bed when I ring you in the arvo, you'd be bloody finished by now!

Yer Yer Yer ring in daylite hours mate.
Now what happened today.
Yippy yahoo you bewdy.... Nuffin went wrong.
The solar panels are now connected and producing energy for my battery, showed SOC of 84% not bad for a battery that's just been sitting waiting its turn.
We also run power lead for the LED lites down both sides of the bus [internal].
Carol will be pleased now as I can now put the fridge and microwave back into their spot.
And she will be able to get thru to the rear of the bus.
Bernie.

Wonderful news Bernie & Carol!!
What regulator are you using Bernie? Does it tell you SOC or do you have another gadget for that job?

Hi Bruce, its a 40amp Tracer MPPT.
Its the second Tracer I have owned had one in the Nissan but only 30amp.
Yes it has a connected display panel with about 6 foot of cable, so can be put in more accessible place.
Will know more tomorrow when we have a better sunlit day, showers on and off today just nuisance stuff.
Pain in the "A" working out three panels in parallel, two's easy its that extra one that's the bugga.
I used Y connecters on two and just lengthened the other panels cable, I have two lots of two entering the roof then they go back into Y connectors then to solar controller.
Needed the think tank working, plus the multi-meter. But we got there.

Good show!!
I used a pair of these when I put the 3 panels on my Civilian. Then just one(pair)wire down to the controller.

Hi all, just a small update.
We bought a Sphere 2.5 washing machine on ebay a few days ago.
So made arrangements to pick up machine in Bundy meeting out side Sugar Land.
Well sellers turned up as arranged and we received the said item.
Well old mate who looked a bit familiar was telling me all the good points of the machine his wife said to Carol... Do you know a Carol Carpenter [maiden name] . I said you are talking to her. Talk about a blast from the past we have known this couple since the 50's Dawn old mates wife lived across the road from Carol And old mate [Ray] was a apprentice motor mechanic just down the road...Don't tell Carol but I had a crush on Dawn (HEHE).
So a lot of talking and a two minute pickup turned into several hours. Was a great day.
Bernie and Carol.
PS: just remembered Dawns Dad Ron was instrumental in me attaining my drivers licence...Ron passed away three years ago aged 89.
