It is a good spot just a dam shame that it is getting abused and so blatantly.dapope wrote:Its what it is Dot, the ranger checks twice a day, but so far thats all

Sounds so much different to what we saw at Langtrees. The tour was very professional ( no pun intended) interesting, each room we saw was spotless with no "workers" in sight. The tour guide was the receptionist. Explained about the medicals once a month, etiquette if she happened to see a "client" down the street & recognised the person, costs etc, explained the layout of each room, where the workers came from, never any local women employed & mainly from Perth, Melb & Sydney, housewives, teaches & nurses make up the majority. All in all it was well worth the money to see how they operate. One couple on the tour had the woman's 80 year old mother with them & she was wonderful- not at all embarrassed- maybe been there, done that!!!
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.

Madam Carmel must be 80, not surprised shes losing her touch, the building itself is historical, something langtrees will never have. I think langtrees is a motel these days

The history was interesting but the rooms were "stage props" not the ones the girls use. I would have thought that if there was a customer then there would be someone there to assist him . Office hrs now that is a line for the ladies. NO dear the office is not open yet
Langtrees had a sign OPEN but no way to get in without a key as it is now a boutique hotel thingy.

Today we left our free o/nght spot and headed towards Norseman, stopped in the same area as on the way up. At last we could sit by a camp fire and look at the cloudless star filled sky with no wind (natural) just a pleasant atmosphere before adjourning for tea. A couple of lads set up a tent near by so as we were going inside so we took over our left over wood much to their delight and I used our shower water to put the fire out then covered it with gravel so no animals would burn their paws or claws.

Dot - I thought all wind (movement of air) man made or otherwise was natual. Please exlain; unnatural wind???Dot wrote:... star filled sky with no wind (natural)...
Going to have a peep around Norseman then fill up with water....
You can fill up from the street at the visitor centre even when unattended if you know the secret handshake.
If attended, don't forget to mention your C*%#A membership as you should get something for your $44 annual fee.

You must have swallowed your razor blades this morning Brad, very sharp and I have no reply to that Q of yours re natural wind.. The visitors centre charged $3 pr dump
that is a bit steep considering if you only have a 20 lit or so cassette and the next one to use it has 300lits stored up?? Didn't know the c#@$ had any deals going with them there? We have the special tap top but we also made a donation not like some of the people we saw using their tap tops. (We did tell the lady in the Info centre we had out own tap and she was ok with that) Refuelled with fuel then on our way again with a slight tail breeze to our next night at the "Woorlba Homestead" stop #19. No coverage last night so this morning we headed towards refuel top up at Cocklebiddy 160cpl ... I even let the Gman behind the wheel for a while but I like driving too much to share ;# . Tonight we are in a stop Moodini Bluff # 9, plenty of fine dust spots for you to enjoy on a windy afternoon \. The temp was 34 deg when we stopped at 3pm but thankfully the breeze is nice and cool now. Plenty of vans heading south and quite a few heading nth as well, lots of road kill #roos). Miss Meow is rather relaxed about things as you can see by the pic of her in the co pilots seat while I was yelling in G's ear "stay on the #$% road"
I never knew those dash cams recorded so clearly
Shall be in Madura tomorrow, hope for a tail wind and not so hot.

1) I was asked, "are you a c#@$ member?" to which I declined and made a donation.Dot wrote:... Didn't know the c#@$ had any deals going with them there?

2) ahhh, now there is your "unnatural wind" as any motorhomer expects when travelling, all winds are *headwinds.
