The GG's & D,G & Miss Meow are away.

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

She who must be obeyed very occasionally except when hungry, thirsty or -orny win which case obedience is instantaneous. No imagination required as although I'm not as good as I once was I'm as good once as I ever was :D :D . The prime of maturity is a great stage of life.

Nora the female Galah (with one wing) whom we saved from living in a small budgie cage some 15 yrs ago passed away during the night, she leaves behind a husband Norman and their 2 sons Chris & Cringle. Her burial will be conducted at her premises this afternoon internment will be under the fruit trees. :(

Oh No! Sad day indeed Dot.
Was she 'egg-bound'? A lot of birds die of it in latter years of their life.
How is Norman taking it? Keep your fingers clear of him.

The ceremony went well, Norman and the kids just screeched as usual but no tears were seen :( On Monday the ver stuck a swab where the sun don't shine and there were no eggs abound in there, she may of just been a very old bird as we have no idea how old she was. Hopefully she will give some B&B to aid the fruit trees. ;)

Our 3 legged pussy cat Jake moved on to mouser heaven last week end. He had another stroke and lost the control of 2 of 3 remaining legs so he could no longer get around. Without the quality of life it wasn't fair to prolong his suffering, so we had the vet give him his last shot while we patted and talked to him, he went peacefully and is now under the thornless blackberry bush. Kinda fitting, a sweat pussy cat who wouldn't hurt anyone feeding a sweet berry bush with no harmful thorns

Not a cat person Terry, but never-the-less, sad to see Jake go and will miss him. He was unique.
Experience is a wonderful thing. It helps you recognise a mistake when repeated.

My, what a sad week you lot have been having. Commiserations to you all for your lost family members. Wether they be feline or avarian (I made that up, I don't know what to call an aviary living bird) they were cherished members of your families, my thoughts are with you Dot and Terry.
