Budgeting

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Budgeting

Post by shonky »

Hi, all.

Just working the calculator, our daily cost for diesel has hit $7.35!! If you think that's bad enough, one of our 4.5kg gas bottles has run out!! Is Ebay any good for refills?
The new bottle's only good for 3 weeks, so any ideas you have in the very near future would be appreciated.

Missing the little bloke and

Well, you have a 3 week lead time before the second bottle runs out, off to St Vinnies, some stilettos, fishnet stockings and a short skirt, you could try working nights around the local pubs. Get a friend to follow you with a camera, walk up to some one who looks as though they'd have 20 bucks in the wallet, tongue in their ear as the flash goes off, $20 to delete the photo..... maybe a bit of practice running for your life in high heels might be advisable before the first outing though ;)

Keep the happy thoughts about the little fella at the top of mind pile, the sadness will eventually be replaced by smiles.

Shonky, there is a fella here i think you might like (or may not) to meet, he is very good with methane supplies but I don't know if he has developed the system for getting it into the cylinders yet, but you could ask just incase  ( His name is Chuck)

Hi, all.

Phil - IMHO speed relates inversely to comfort.

TI Terry - Out of curiosity, what have been the formative events in your life?
Great idea, mind you.

Hi, all.

Dot - is it OK to call you Dotty? There was a chinese truckie in Wacol who piped petrol fumes into his truck's air filter as required. Can you ask Chuck if this would work with methane?

Ahhh..... that requires a good night with a good red and good friends around a good campfire, the good red softens the shock sensitivity a bit  Let's just say that I didn't qualify for hall monitor at school and it all went down hill from there 8-)

HI, all.

Well the daily average fuel cost has crept down to a reasonable $6.91, but now we're missing one of our tent pegs! Do these expenses never stop?

No, TI Terry, we can manage this out of the Jim Beam tin and, while your advice is always welcome for the psychological revelations therein, we're really OK thanks.
