Brian is just 0.725grams and he is 6 mths old, he was hand raised as his siblings all died due to his mum being a kitten herself and had no idea what to do. He is so affectionate and just loves being literally right under your nose and purrs all the time. The tv room looks like a kids play room and it is just so great to watch this tiny man play until he drops from exhaustion. He had his vaccinations last week and has a wee bit of a sneeze as a result but that is normal, his appetite is fantastic now he is on good quality food so I expect to see a fast improvement in his build within a month or so, He even likes the cat harness and lead and doesn't make a squeak when in the car,. Watch this space he is going to be a beauty.

Housetrained ?

Absolutely house trained . Poor wee fella had to go to see the vet today as he had a reaction to the vaccination he had, because of his very rocky start in life his immunity system has been compromised , anyway he was such a good boy and had his medicine without any complaints. Has had some antibiotics and anti inflams to help him along to growing into a big happy and healthy boy. Of course the vet nurses all thought he was so handsome.

Brian has been a crook little man, turned out he had the cat flu, the shelter's dodgy vet was remiss with their procedures and the little man was the one doing it hard for it. Anyway he has been seeing my vet every 2nd day for monitoring and today he was given the all clear to associate with Miss Meow and to be out of confinement. He has also put on 400grams since he came to live with us & in just in 10 days and to make one feel proud he put weight on while suffering from a nasty virus He is like a speeding bullet train racing here and there chasing his toy mice, corks and the best of all, the surprise attack when you walk past him you find him clasped around your leg No worries as he has his nails clipped. And so is the life of Brian.

Today Brian got to meet Miss Meow, she was asleep on the bed (as usual) and Brian jumped up, she opened her eyes and spat at him so he backed off and went about chasing some rolled up paper, all sorted he knows SHE is the boss (as it should be)

Here is the little fella, relaxing outside and is he growing like a weed. He has had his face slapped by Miss Meow because he snuck up while she was sleeping and sniffed her bum (typical male sneaks up while female is sleeping) He has nearly doubled his weight since arriving here and his foul farting has also stopped. (due to the crappy food he was fed at the shelter) He is also having walks with his harness on and coped quite well when we went into the bus and I started the motor up so we look like he will travel nicely.

Elly arrived for another weeks holiday today and already her & Brian are buddies, Elly sleeps most of the time but that is not stopping Brian from showing off.
