Bob, think it's only 6 wheel drive when you engage the diff lock, the rest, it's a lazy axle. Could come in handy way put back in a soft river crossing

They are a good vehicle especially with the Isuzu and twin tanks, if it's anything like the ones I've seen, lots of storage places in them and plenty of room underneath for extra tanks. An exhaust brake would be a good thing if your towing, I put one on my Isuzu small work truck back in Vic and also on the bus, as the original had been removed. They make a big difference to your slowing and stopping ability, I'm going to put one on my cruiser that tows a big trailer when I save up.

Thanks Dot...
Slowhand where do you get them from,I made one for our bus but it had air pressure and was easy to do. Just fitted a butter fly in the pipe with a small cylinder to drive it. Any info would be welcome....Thanks

Here you go Bob, they do need an air supply but are excellent because they are a guillotine operation and not butterfly. They do big stuff, but give you the best one for you vehicle. Mine haven't missed a beat.

Bob, Have a look at the exhaust brake on a Coaster, about 2 1/2 inch pipe and vacuum control. I will take a photo of the one on mine tomorrow if the weather is OK.

I enquired from SGV as to whether they could supply an exhaust brake kit for the Fiat 3.0 Multijet motor. The reply was that he didn't know what the allowable back pressure for that motor was and, therefore, could not supply me with a kit.
