about 300 from the mounting flange
they will hang down about 25-30mm from the ceiling
The whole unit hangs off drawbolts so the you can adjust the height to match the ceiling.

Hmmm...... I don't think I have the room under the solar panels some how, back to the wall mounted head unit me thinks. Might be an option in big bus though for the lounge room/kitchen area as that has a hatch fairly centre so worth looking into, thanks for the info.

Three head units on the AC? Wow.
No expense spared on the electrics either. A circuit diagram? Those look like expensive high current contactors too, let alone the SuperCombi stuff...

Re: Coach to Tooltruck/RV
The air flow for the A/C comes from these which are mounted in the floor forward of the outdoor unit

they will pump about 950cfm and push the air out a slot in the back
The fans will be variable speed
It all seems to work OK

Have started fitting a CAN bus system, which will control 20 circuits

And the powercell up the front

which will allow me to open and close the door with this:
Along with a whole bunch of other stuff: eg security
