Your support is needed to get RV Park in Barmera SA

It seems the caravan park lobby is at it again and I ask for your assistance to write letters of support for an RV Park in Barmera SA.
The email address for the local councilors is listed below for your reference, also the editor of the local newspaper.

It seems we have support from some but not all Councilors, so an email from everyone here to all of these people should help our cause.

I'd like to encourage everyone to think seriously about this.
I'm in the middle of putting together a letter to encourage the council to go ahead with a plan for camp grounds and dump points for (in general) any RV vehicle but in particular for those vehicles that are COMPLETELY self contained.

There are several beautiful areas/camp grounds that are presently available & through misunderstanding, these areas could be at risk of closing or charging. (or charging more in one case)
A mention of a couple of the areas in question are Martin's Bend Camping area. (Free), Moorook (small charge), Barmera (free).

If you do not leave this park before 9.50am - they change the boom gate code so you can NOT leave and they hold you to ransom for another night fees !!

mmm. If you don't sleep in sheep yards you don't get treated as sheep.........
I guess if the rules are very clear and precise then I really don't have a lot of problems with it.
Should be made VERY clear when you book in though!

Then you could have them for nananapping or being held against your will, they wouldn't stand a chance in the "real world" I think a judge would laugh it out of court if it went that far. I would want it written on my receipt when I paid about the strict rules for getting out.

That could be an interesting one. In the motor vehicle repair industry it is illegal to hold a vehicle until payment is made so this is much the same. A phone call to the local police and a video of the whole thing could be worth a few bits of embarrassment and head pulling in on the CP industries side, particularly this establishment. It is classed as illegal use of a motor vehicle and it is a criminal offence, if convicted the owners would then have a criminal record.
