Barry I think we're a long way away from amalgamating the two forums.
I admit that in some ways it'd be ideal but the freedom to choose one or the other or even both needs to be maintained for now.
I'd be very hesitant to introduce some (most?) of the rules on Rodney's (yours?) forum onto members here.
2 major differences are .... no copyright here... post what you like until a complaint is received of infringement, and discussions on plumbing and electrical are welcome without being chased off by the fun police. (I said discussion, not doing)
As far as George's quote ........... how dare a Chairperson that is within minutes of being replaced have the audacity to say what he did? Shows the character of the man. (In my opinion)
And a little bit that Barry left out .......... YES, it was the previous Chairperson that said it.......... not Garry Lee the new Chairperson.

Bruce, I would add another difference...the members here are not as nasty in their responses to those who hold a different opinion to their own.

I think we all have to respect other person's views and comments & move on rather than try to argue & belittle that person.
I personally have no issue with anyone contributing on this forum, including some that most of us find 'confronting'. (to put it mildly)
Maybe Dot can 'tone down' her responses a little bit? I heard she 'mooned' someone? lol... haha
