May well be Jim the way the "special" ones at the other place treated me for trying to do some good for every traveller. I don't give a rats rectum who gets things done as long as they get done. If I had all the $$ that lot (the firm) have stashed away then I would be able to do all the dump points and buy all the land needed to cater for the travellers of ALL vehicle types. (even those with 5ers)

If I need to explain it Jim then you have no idea of anything concerning the club you so vehemently defend so there is no reason to explain.

I'm gunna take my admin hat off here so I'll probably get a letter, but I feel this needs to be said:

Jim, playing dumb only make you look like the dumbie, so knock it off eh. When you troll you tend to drag up a lot of crap that has settled, but it hasn't actually moved away. I think you will find and probably already know, a few govt depts. gave the CMCA funds to disperse as far as the dump point part goes, I doubt if the CMCA would actually pay for the dump points out of it's own revenue, crickies, that would be spending members money on member benefits and "We'll no be havin' any of that nonsenses laddie" has been the old board attitude to that sort of thing, that money is for glory and glitter items like new club houses on contaminated ground rather than better utilisation of the existing premises....... best not to try to cover the CMCA in glory here Jim, it can also get covered in the other stuff as well and there is heaps of that available  Remember, I was a member for 15 yrs so I have a lot of club history to dish out, and it wasn't all roses, a lot of it is more like rose food.
Now I will settle down and put my Admin hat back on....over my tin hat and wait for the fall out

I think it incorrect of you to say that inferring that I did. that would be spending members money on member benefits and "We'll no be havin' any of that nonsenses laddie" has been the old board attitude to that sort of thing, that money is for glory and glitter items like new club houses on contaminated ground rather than better utilisation of the existing premises....... best not to try to cover the CMCA in glory here Jim, it can also get covered in the other stuff as well and there is heaps of that available  Remember, I was a member for 15 yrs so I have a lot of club history to dish out, and it wasn't all roses, Sounds like you are bitter? a lot of it is more like rose food.

No fall out - you are entitled I feel, as I felt that I am, to an opinion.

And therein lies the problem of the old forum, Jim. You want to express an opinion but you knock everyone else's opinion. It's not pleasant for most, but for those who derive pleasure from such masochism there are plenty of forums to spend time on.

I think I'll start a new topic - Suggested Forums for Masochists.

Jim, I have totally ignored your trolling because I am just not interested in the tone of your reply &/or questions. You know the answers, you think you know it all, so why would I bother to actually enlighten you as to the realities and actions of the Australian Caravan Association?
Far out, you don't even know who you are writing to. I was booted off the cmca forum many times because I had the temerity to tell the truth as I see it, my opinion is valued just as much as yours here, so the fact that I don't drive a "complying vehicle" has no bearings on my thoughts about many things that are discussed here.

The CMCbloodyA is not the only way to get dump points in towns, it is just one of many groups of individuals and/or caravan clubs who are trying to get towns interested in the dump point idea. Other groups and indivuals are just not yelling from the rafters to tell the world what they are doing or what they have achieved. It may be the squeaky wheel, but often the quiet sweet approach will have similar effects.
