Found this little spider in G's shed and I can't find a picture of it anywhere, anyone know what it is

Don't know Dot but some of the 'orb' spiders have similar markings.

If you look through this lot you can see some with similar shaped bodies, https://www.google.com.au/search?q=gold ... d=0CDkQ7Ak well if you picture it wit its legs still attached
These are the buggers that build a white cross in the centre of the web and a pattern in the centre identical to the pattern on her back. I a woody type tree she would be hard to distinguish looking from either side. They can build such amazing webs, yet pull them down by sun up if they are in a high traffic area, leave a basic tension strand, then as soon as it's dark, out she comes and builds an even bigger web. Fascinating to watch them at work, a truly amazing creature
