Re: recommendations for hot water service.
Hi guys . I had the same thing leaks from under the stirien it had 14 holes in it . I didn't do anodes as the book said it was stainless haha . I stepped out and bought a instant gas water heater . We both hate it its noisy heavy and I recon it uses more gas because the fan cools the water in the heater down between water on and soap of and its hard to regulate the water temp. Sometimes it's that hot you can't stand it others times it turns cold just for shits and giggles . I'm going back to a tank one oops 1000 bucks down .

Re: recommendations for hot water service.
Graeme we have one of those instant units on the boat.
We find we had to put a pressure reducer/controller on the town water supply to reduce the pressure a LOT.
Once we did that we find if we turn hot on nearly flat out & adjust with cold we get on best.
When down/up the river, we have two 12v pumps. one for hot & one for cold. We have a tap to isolate but if one pump fails, we can open the tap. Hope that makes sense?
Terry might be interested in your instant one? Price of LPG jets was ridiculous for him to convert his natural gas ones.

Re: recommendations for hot water service.
Our gas/electric water heater has chucked a wobbly, it still works as normal on the gas but nothing when on 240v. G is not game to do anything till we get back home but in the meantime are there any thoughts on what may be the trouble?

Slightly off topic, but Masters have 40-50% off domestic gas, electric and instant gas HWS at the moment.

Dot there is a reset button on the unit itself. Also, make sure the 240v plug is properly in the socket. Good luck
