Is NZ "International" to BigPong?
We sail for NZ tomorrow, and have not yet had time to visit Telstra Shops in our shopping expeditions to the Big Smoke of Albury.
I'm sure someone on this forum has practical experience which will answer this...
Q: Do I have to turn on 'International Roaming' to receive emails through our Mobile Broadband dongle?

Quite frankly Ray, I'd forget "International Roaming". Just bring your dongle and buy a local Prepay Data SIM when you get here. Load it with as much data as you think you'll need and you'll be away. We use Vodafone "Prepay Freebee Data" or 2 Degrees. Check out the packages available and you should find them much cheaper than using Big Pond.
We find that free WiFi sites allow your data allowance to go much further, so try to use them as much as you can.
Good luck, and enjoy your Kiwi holiday !!
