No because I'm not going to crash!!! 8-) :geek:

To be honest I don't have much room left on the dash. Not sure if they can hang from the roof? Maybe.
I've alway had trouble rotating the up/down in videos. pictures/photos is easy.

I have that same brand rear camera & to be honest I doubt it'd be clear enough for evidence in court. You'd probably need a darn good one to see the number plate & the look on their guilty faces!!!

Mind you I'd loved to have seen the look an that kangaroo's face that AM (Anne-Marie) nearly cleaned up in the BRB. (Big Red Bus) Did you have a camera AM & was it turned on?
(in brackets for any new members sake)

Check our this site http://dashcamtalk.com/category/dashcamreviews/ They compare the lower priced cameras and I found it very helpful.
I went with Peter and Sandra's advice in http://www.ozervnews.com/forum/viewtopi ... lit=camera and brought this one http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FULL-HDMI-10 ... 4ab69a4de4. It arrived yesterday was easy to set up and I am very happy with the vision.

I bought one of the Ebay $38 dollar ones and fitted it up behind the rev mirror on a modified bracket, ran the ignition powered cord up behind the trim, slid in a 16gig card and away we went.

Never even thought about it again till we nearly had a horse or 2 in the front of the ute on the way to Kings Canyon.
I thought
"Ah Ha got it all on camera, This'll make an interesting video on ( another ) forum."

NOPE !

Turn out that it was doing a reset and overwrite on the card and for that very exact moment it wasn't recording, for all the good it did it could just as well be sitting in the middle of the road with hind leg up licking itself.

So if you have one of these REMEMBER to Clear the card DAILY.
And to put in the biggest card your camera will fit.

Card = memory card. Just like in a digital camera or a mobile phone.
Seems the more common ones are now SD or mini-SD.
