Hi Everyone,
Wow it has been a long time since I have been here, I sold my Coaster over 12 months ago because we did not have time to use it due to work, now with only a short time to retirement I was looking at building a 5th wheeler, anyone have or know where I would be able to pick up some chassis plans for one, my searches only bring up US ones I think it would be safer to source plans from Australia.
Anyone able to help.
Steve.

Steve,
I would probably be following the US floor plans as they do have some good layouts but get it engineered by a good Aussie engineer. Worth it to get it right.

Re: 5th wheeler chasis plans
Good advice Dirk!
Actually I thought he was more after the chassis rather than the layout.
If I was building one myself I think I'd go and ask one of the horse float people to build me an empty 5th wheeler float, get it registered and then get stuck into the conversion.
If you're in Queensland there are a continual lineup of campdraft competitions that have many of these units to inspect.
I suggest you do it in SA though............ much easier process. (or Tassie)

Re: 5th wheeler chasis plans
Of course you could just use the chassis plans from USA and just turn the layout upside down and use as much as you need , that way everything would be for RH drive
