Guess we were but they never did check the cars, today they would probably have security guards checking every vehicle, they were the good old days.

Mareeba drive-in still operates and is an RV friendly drivein!!! You can arrive early, setup your motorhome and pay at the kiosk when they open and stay the night too. Great people

Yeah sounds a real good idea, there is an outdoor type theatre at Jericho that still operates it has the same type of speakers but I don't think that folk would of ever sat in there cars the area is to small.

It's in the Main Street just back towards the free camp ground from the pub, it has a fence along the front & is all lawn only about the size of a large building block.

Found the pics on the old Dell, it is actually called Jericho Drive in Theatre & it would of accommodated cars & also has a stand at the side for folk to sit in & watch the movie, the screens back is to the Main Road probably how you missed it, we always walk around the towns.
