Extremely strong southerly winds have blown here all night, tree branches & leaves everywhere fortunately our bay is protected from the south, really high tide, it is still raining & doesn't look like stopping anytime soon.

The trenches dug in the front yard by the Mazda and Kombi have become rivers with the sand that seems to make up a lot of our front yard moving along with the current, so maybe the trenches will self fill. The high tides combined with all the rain will put a strain on the Lake shores, so localised flooding will be on the cards. No doubt the Illawarra Hwy at Albion Park Rail will be cut, but I doubt too many would be crazy enough to take on Macquarie Pass after all this rain, it tends to become a tad unstable with land slips onto the road as well as road slips to.......the sides are rather steep so it could end up on the road below

Large gum tree just came down in neighbour's front yard fortunately hasn't hit anything to do damage but garden a mess.
Bruce has just gone down to check on boats, the lake is really up lapping under jetty.

Dr., Specialist just rang to say that they will rebook my app., to dangerous to be out on the roads in these conditions.

Well bring you swimmers and towel and you can take a dip in our front yard Don't worry too much about the sun screen though, the sun hasn't been seen in these parts for a few days now. It does make it a tad difficult to do anything much on the Mazda, but the time I've chucked the tools in the boat and paddled out to the Mazda door I'm soaked through and the boat needs bailing out. At least it's stopping me from using any dangerous tools
