Well folks a bit of a update , we are camped on the Murray ay Cobram . Doug from the AMH forum guided us here in fact he and his wife Jackie came with us and spent the weekend camping as well, Went into Cobram shopping yesty and got lost [misplaced] a cuppla times but found but way back.
Temp yesty morning was 7 degs at 5am when I got up. Thought we had a major problem with the fridge as it would not cycle so with the help of Doug we were ringing around for maybe a replacement or a household one that would fit in the hole.
But luck was this time on our side, was nuffin wrong with the fridge except its from Qld and was not used to the cold, it didn't need to cycle as was cold enough so I have removed my foot from mouth.
Temp this am is 10 degs relative heat wave? but inside the bus its now 18 degs at 6.30am with the diesel heater going flat out.
Will be here till Friday the down to Taggerty's for the weekend.
All for now,
Bernie and Carol.

We have just returned from a week and a half on the Mornington Peninsular where it was a pleasure to go for a morning walk in the brisk cool air.

True Steve but we have the whole of the camp on the river to ourselves because they have all gone north.
Plus the diesel heater is working fine. Don't have to go outside.
Gunna try and catch a fish now wish me and him/her luck it will be released except if Carol spots me.
Bernie.
Good one George.

Good that the bus is ok Bernie. You have to make sure the fridge is in top working order because when the fuel for the diesel heater runs out you can use the fridge for a back up heater when it gets proper cold......and it's going to. Global warming is a big porkie. We are heading for Gingin tomorrow and they're forecasting 5 C for the weekend so I'd better check my fridge. Might take an early mark from Gingin and head for Baffle Creek. Don't forget to take the shotgun with you when you go for your early morning run as rumour has it that those Mexitorian polar bears are vicious brutes. Take care and don't drink to little. Cheers.
