The result sounds good but the process getting there sounds very painful hope it is on the mend & all goes good for Margaret & no more pain.

Re: Gum Bend Lake 13 - 19th May 2015
Margaret is up doing the one foot pain relief dance in the kitchen now, seems the appetite has returned. Apparently the foot is painful to stand or walk on, but shifting weight on and off it reduces the pain. The pain level can be gauged by the speed of the beat, ranges from the cardio beat of Staying Alive to a Chip Monk version of the Benny Hill theme
But it appears to be on the improve at the moment

You'd think the Gum Bend mob would be out of bed by now eh..... The Motorhomer Midnight looks like it's settled in there big time judging by the post times

Sorry to have been so slack with the happenings but time just slips by when having fun. It has been a really great time here meeting up with OLD friends and also meeting up finally with people known only by their forum names i.e Peter & Sandra & Col & Jenny the rest of the motley crew are all old friends. Brad and Marree even turned up out of the blue. Helen & Paul aka the boring one actually made it here and has fitted in very well (even if she did bribe her way by baking a cake ) We all went to the local RSL for tea last night, mind you it took the bus 3 trips to get us all there. The meals were excellent but we had no luck with any of the raffles. (rigged for the locals) The weather has been Oh so kind to us the last few days, even saw some shorts on some today. Brian has also been out socialising but not too pleased with Puddles sniffing his bum. More tomorrow.

Yes having a great time, perfect weather, low 20's during the day and cooling off at sunset, rugged up we sat around the fire until about 10 last night, we've been made very welcome to the group and feel we've known everyone for years instead of days.
Unfortunately we have to start heading homewards this afternoon as we're in the middle of house additions and I'm the owner builder.
As has been said the location is great and the locals welcoming.
