Further North West from there. There is a big red gum sawmill in the little town.

Re: Where is this....
Barham/Koondrook had a big saw mill but it's full of solar panels now and I can't remember seeing this guy in either of those towns.... not to say he isn't there though

Re: Where is this....
Ha ha ha, Yep that's it. The sawmill still runs all day. On the Koondrook side there is a walk from the main bridge to the Gunbower Island bridge. There are strategically placed redgum carvings along the walk. Barham is a great little town, has a great little bakery and a few good pubs, not to mention the Services Club and the fishing is OK. Koondrook CP over the over side is a relatively inexpensive place to spend a few days. And the pub tucker is OK. We have been back there more than once.
So now it is over to you.

Re: Where is this....
I have family (well the ex's family that I get on well with) and friends that live in the area, one worked at the mill that is now full of solar panels and the other worked for the forestry so he was at the other end of cutting down the trees
Does this mean I need to look around the area more and sit and drink with them less?
OK, there is a story that goes with this, if the guessing lasts a few days I'll tell more of the story. Sorry about the crap photo, the one I took gives the location away so this is a Google street view. Where is this cute little fire station
