Where do we all go when the CMCA forum reopens?

I'm guessing there will be very little if any mention regarding the direct competition forum re-opening over there... well it won't last very long before it vaporises anyway. I guess they already know they will not have a seat of power again on the CMCA forum and would just be ordinary members. The real question will be, after such a long shut down and the level of movement away from the CMCA by many of the more active forum members to other forms of social media, will it get back off the ground or just crash and burn. I guess I won't get to see how it fairs as I am no longer a CMCA members and I doubt that the forum re-opening will add enough appeal on its own to convince me to re-join.
I wish them luck and I hope all the hard work that has gone into getting the forum re-opened has not been in vain, but as time moves on, so do people's wants, needs and allegiances, I just wonder if there will be enough participation to stop it stagnating like it did back in the early days. I remember, way back then, days would pass without a single post, sometimes up to a week, this forum has had its quiet patches where some doubts were raised about its long term viability, the private lithium forum was the same in the early days and the owner of that forum was going to shut it down, will the board see a lack lustre forum support there a reason to cost cut and just shut it down again? It was a great knowledge base, but that is rather dated now....

Time will tell, time tells all, it is great that CMCA will have a forum for members again, it should never have been closed IMO.

When do they release the mods names or are they once again to be faceless/nameless.? that was one of the big problems for me. Anyway who cares? live and let live.

No idea re mods but I agree live & let live, there is certainly room for a CMCA forum.

Not 100% sure, but I think Beryl was thinking; "I'll live here while they live there".

As per Terry's signature, "No forum or member is the suppository of all knowledge", so what ever we need will likely as not be available here too (if not exclusively).

I got a week-end ban from the CMCA forum..... apparently the week never ended 2mths will require a belief in reincarnation if you really believe you will ever get back in once they get you out
