After a leisurely trip down from the Gum Bend gathering, We are now at Mt Gambier and looking to move on Thursday towards Millicent after visiting Port MacDonald, after that further up towards the Coorong.
We have camps 6, are there other good free camps on the coastline.

Re: Col & Jenny
Hi Col,
Pleased to meet yu! (will one day!)
Once you get to Millicent there are 2 ways to travel to Kingston etc.
By far the most to see is via the coast road. (Southend, Beachport & Robe)
During the week we have camped at Southend in the car parking area near the sports centre. Lovely big area well protected from wind. Weekends it's probably got girls playing netball etc.
Beachport has an area almost alongside the turnoff to Robe but is very open and can be windy.
Robe? Well Robe is Robe. Good place to visit & sight see but not friendly camping in my opinion.
Kingston you no doubt have the free camping spots in your book>?
You're welcome to camp free in my driveway if you wish?
Unhook & go seeing the area. Power & PURE rainwater avail. Let me know?
Obviously there are many parking areas all along the way. Rest stops, quarries etc.
Bruce & Wendy.

Re: Col & Jenny
Col I will PM you but you won't be seeing me there as I'm down on the houseboat at Mannum & have Bernie & Carol calling by.
You're still very welcome to drop in at Kingston as I said.
Depending on our visitors here we may do a day trip to Dot's for hot scones so if dates co-incide??!!

We are at Narrung tonight, a reasonable free camp with new toilets, with the ever present wind though.

Re: Col & Jenny
We arrived at Bruce &Wendy's spot on the Murray on Monday and were warmly welcomed, met Bernie & Carol as well and enjoyed the time together getting to know what is going on outside our backyard.
Moved on today to Dot & Georges place, met up with Chuck & Katrina as well, I made a point of bringing some scones, raised a chuckle.
