Maree organised a family get together for the Queen's birthday weekend. I don't remember things like my birthday (truly) and had no idea anything was being planned for me. It would have been a complete surprise except for the phone call she made to invite MIL who does not hear all that well and had to have EVERYTHING explained TWICE, "it's Brad's birthday" and then that's when the penny dropped - WHAT!, I'm having another birthday, NO WAY. Alas, sad but true - the ol dawg is older again.
tired dawg

So you organised your birthday to happen on the Queen's birthday week end, that must have taken a fair bit of planning and been a real surprise for your mum Happy Birthday Brad, hope you had a god one.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
Happy birthday Brad, have a good one
