Hi all. Yes Dot chewed Wendy's ear off for a week, we left the warm hospitality of Bruce and Wendy yesterday heading for the NT. At present in the free camp %Ks from Crystal Brook. We had a memorable time on the Murray with our hosts some thing that will remain in or memory's for a long time.
It was good to put faces to Dot and George, Chuck and Catrina , Col and Jenny.
Carol has told me she had the most enjoyable time talking with Wendy and the experience of the house boat.
We had a cuppla meals of Yellow Belly fish another high, been a lot of years since we had some.
As host you cant go past Bruce and Wendy nothing is to hard for them, even to the changing of oil in the bus motor...Thanks Mate...That in its self was an effort finding suitable containers and such, Bruce to the rescue and trip to local hospital and bingo we had what was needed.
One thing I will mention don't get in the way if a fish bites the hook and rings the little bell you will be crush if in the way, boy can Bruce move fast.
All for now once more a great big thanks to our hosts Bruce and Wendy, one thing I must put in getting a good photo of Wendy proved to be a challenge but I did succeed
Only Wendy will know what I mean??

Ok folks, we caught up with our neighbours in Woomera and spent the nite at Spuds road house (diesel $2.64) 7 cents cheaper 100Ks north but who new?
We are now in Coober Pedy arrived around 1.30am.

Another price rip off, we are staying in the "Big Four" at Coober they give you a fuel voucher for a 5 cent discount per litre at the BP , price at bowser $1,66.
Now over the road at the Shell its $ 1,54 per litre.
Guess where I'm filling in the morning.
