Well, when I was 16, anyone older than about 30 was well past their prime, but I reckon 60 is the old bugger line in the sand even though I still feel like a misguided kid on the inside, but I guess we all feel a bit like that if we are honest with ourselves. 60 is when the senior discounts start to kick in, a SCAN is an accepted part of the daily routine (looking forward to that part) and breakfast and dinner are a side dish for the cluster of pills now required daily to either mask over the broken bits or provide enough energy to actually make it through till SCAN time.shonky wrote:Hi, all.

Hi, all.
T.I.Terry - I turned 68 last May 30th, take three pills in the morning and six at night, so I qualify, but what the hell is SCAN time? I look forward to 4.30pm with some eagerness, mind you.
Had a Cat Scan in emergency a while ago but they found nothing...

My dear friend & neighbour whom I had to help this arvo is 96 1/2 years still lives alone & is managing great after a recent small stroke, so I now reckon old is 90years.

My young grandchildren tell me (60) that I am older than dirt. They even sent me a talking birthday card to prove it, but I think that nana may have had a hand in that.

I don't claim to be old Shirley. The g'kids call me old. I threaten to kick their butt. You are only as old as you feel, and I feel pretty good right now.

60 is real young David, just enjoy life & travelling while you are able.
Our nearly 18yr old g' son often says to us " that is such an old person thing to do" our reply " well we are old".
