I have been using EToll from RTA NSW for several years. I pay $1.25 per month account fee, use about $80 a year in tolls. I have the MH and Toad registered on the one tag.
Is there a better system available? Do I just stick with what I have?

Do they still charge the fee if you use electronic statements? I think Roam skips the mthly fee if you use non paper statements, might be worth checking out. Their down side is when the account drops to $10 or under (think that's the amount) they grab $50 out of your account, that has caused the odd embarrassing moment when I didn't have my phone with me to transfer more funds, cost me over $20 just before christmas with that Woolies fuel discount scam

Hi Terry, Yes, we only get an account by email, but still get the fee. It's only $16 per year, but I thought there were schemes available with no monthly fee. Mine isn't connected for auto-top up, I just deposit extra funds as required. I hate Direct Debit, I tossed Diners Club for that reason.

Re: Toll Road Tag
I have a QLD Go Via tag and there are no monthly fees.
I have an auto top up when it gets to a mininum, the account can be viewed on line, and it works in all states.

Thanks Bruce and Craig, seems the way to go. Now to find a way to spend that $1.25 a month more efficiently.
